Well we arrived in Calgary for day one of our getaway. While Melody was checking on our reservations for High Tea tomorrow I took the chance to step outside and get a few shots. The Calgary Tower has been a well known landmark in this city for many years. The building beside it is the Fairmount Palliser Hotel which is where we are staying. The hotel was a surprise for me as an early anniversary preset from Melody. She knows how much I enjoy historic buildings and the hotel opened in 1914.
Nice present from Melody. will we bet to see the hotel in daylight?..the tower is well known...my grandson is working in that area for the summer and his parents and the whole family of my daughter in law are going there on vacation to celebrate her mom's 80th birthday..lovely angle you took this shot in.
