Well I was just getting ready to sit down at the computer when I realized I did not have a picture for today. Then I looked out the window only to discover that it was snowing outside, not that I am happy about that. However, it did provide the solution to my problem. I am so glad that you can always count on Mother Nature to come to your rescue.
Unfortunately it is going to stay cold for the first half of this week. I am hoping that we do not get anymore snow. It is supposed to warm up next weekend so I am hoping that this will disappear as I am not quite ready for the snow to come and stay yet
I spoke with my friends in France who live in the lower Alps (Le Drome) and they too had their first taste of snow today. There was snow in some of the UK as well. Winter has arrived! Nice feel to your shot.
It looks great with the fall tree. Be thankful that is all you have. We are waiting to see if it will be snow or rain from hurricane Sandy tomorrow..
..either way it will lots of it!
Nice image. I just learned from the local news that Northwestern Montana has experienced one of the snowest Octobers on record. We have had similar scenes several times in recent weeks.
We had to shovel snow last week and it is snowing again tonight.. so that means we will shovel again tomorrow morning. Sure looking forward to those warmer temps the end of the week though.
We were glad it didn't snow more while we were there! Lovely shot of the snow.
We made it to the Photography show. I got to try the round macro light (picked one up) and the Lens Baby. Saw most of the Travel Photography seminar, but missed the most important part when he talks about HOW to do it! Checked out some lenses and talked to Canon rep, so now I know which 50mm I will get. Did you get there?
pretty trees....and i like the snow...but we don't get much here in Seattle. I am following you......but i don't know what happened....i am sure i was following you previously....not sure what happened!
..either way it will lots of it!
