So today is my last shot in this series. Taken on the way home from one of our trips to Kansas City. Devil's Tower in Wyoming is one on America's most famous natural landmarks. I would have loved to have had the chance to spend more time here but I am grateful for the opportunity to have had the chance at least once to see this in person. Hope everyone has a good week coming up
Amazing natural wonder. Well composed photograph. I love the landscape in the western United States. I have not made it to Wyoming, and I don't know if I ever will but I would love to see this in person.
I've always wanted to see that up close. We could see it at a distance once but I couldn't get my husband to go closer. I didn't have a good close up lens then.
@eudora I am glad you enjoyed it. I guess I am priviliged to have seen a lot of places due to the fact that I prefer to drive places whenever possible instead of flying
@sunnygreenwood Well in a lot of our travels we have made a decision to travel by car as opposed to flying. Therefore, we have been able to see so many more sights
I remember being so fascinated by the Devils Tower after seeing the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." I really wanted to go to the Black Hills to see it but never made it. That is really an awesome shot of this intriguing monument.
Ah, yes! Devil's Tower! Did you have a chance to see the massive prairie dog "field". Dozens of the little guys going in and out of their "homes" in the ground. Interesting! Also a great photo op!
