So with some really nice weather today I made a stop by the Alberta Aviation Museum on my way to work today to take a few photos. I have decided that I would share some of these in a short little Aviation Series this week.
This is a McDonnell Douglas CF-101 Voodoo. It was used by the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1961-1984. It has a top speed of Mach 1.78 Along with the USAF it was an important part of NORAD
I do, too. The well-written, historical narrative really drew me more in to the photograph. I like things with wings, and am looking forward to your aviation series! A wonderful idea.
that's one great plane against a great blue sky, brian. beautiful shot. i used to wonder what insignia that little red and white thingie was whenever i'd see photos of planes like this one. who'd have known that one day i would come to this country and stay forever.
