Since being on 365 I have discovered myself taking pictures of things that in the past I would simply have walked past before. Today I am going through some of my old pictures and I came across this shot. Magpies are such a common bird but I liked the fact that in this case there were two of them facing opposite directions sitting on a picket fence.
Who knows what else I may come across.

There are some GREAT lines in this! The lines on the siding on the house, the brick of the foundation, the fence and the fantastic lines on the birds! How nice that they would pose that way for you!
Awesome capture! And while these may be common, I haven't seen any black and white magpies here in Tucson, nor have I ever seen them facing opposite directions in any other photograph! So, thank you very much!
Fantastic capture of these birds! I just saw a pair in Colorado Springs this weekend and chased them a bit, but could not get the shot. I love the way you did capture them -- looking in both directions.
Magpies! Wow! I haven't seen them in 20 years had almost forgotten about them. They are a noisy bunch though aren't they? And get into EVERYTHING! Such a great composition here and you definitely caught their "best" side. :)
