So here is a follow up on yesterday's picture of the old painted signs. This is the flatiron building that they are on. This is the Gibson Block built in 1913. It was initially retail outlets on the main floor with apartment suites on the other floors. The Turkish Baths operated in the basement.
Today the building is home to a Women's Emergency Shelter
I love old buildings that begin on a corner and are very narrow as this one appears to be. I've seen one in Toronto and over in London. Very cool shot. FAV.
