Candlelight

My family celebrates Christmas on Christmas Eve. Part of our celebration includes attending a Candlelight Service. This year we went to the church my youngest brother and his family attend.
The service concludes with candles lit and everyone singing Silent Night

Lovely image. We do the same at out church, except this year they used battery operated candles rather than the real thing. Seems technology has crept in even here.

I love that part of Christmas eve service. It was very disappointing that Christopher's church didn't do it. But they are more contemporary and unconventional. So we just enjoyed being with the family!
