First Official Landing

In January 1927 this RCAF Siskin Aircraft piloted by C.H. (Punch) Dickens made the first official landing at Blatchford Field.
This mural is located on the side of a dugout at a baseball field in Airway Park across from where the airport was once located.
The hanger in the mural has been replicated in Fort Edmonton Park on 1920 Street.
