Flight Canceled

Yesterday I went for a short drive northwest of the city. I stopped off at the town of Villeneuve.
I went out to their small airport where l came across this old Boeing 737 that was once part of the Pacific Western Airline. I was able to get close to get a decent picture

Here, we see a Boeing out of its natural habitat - the skies and major airports - grazing in a farmer's field. If we're quiet, we may be able to approach it without it taking off.....

I suppose the aircraft will be used for rescue training purposes now. Still, sad to see an old airplane put out to pasture.
