In The Lounge

Here is another shot from dinner last night . We had dinner at the Condfederation Lounge at the Hotel MacDonald.
The Hotel is named after Canada's first Prime Minister Sir John A. MacDonald. The Lounge is named after the large painting entitled Father's of Confederation

Love the historic atmosphere. I like being in a space that tells a story. Sadly, somebody will probably be offended and demand it be removed. But since it is most likely private property perhaps it will stay. And Canada may be more apt to preserve their history. Some history is to be remembered for its greatness and sometimes it is a lesson learned that should never be repeated.
