Wow that turned out cool. I assume that you drew with your camera?? Actually, I should just ask if you'll share how you did that? My star filter is on it's way, and I am so excited to try something new.
@digitalrn Thank you Rick, I only take pictures while driving if I'm on the backroads....where nobody can see me weaving all over the road and almost driving it in the ditch.
@joshwindswept@maggie2@barbsmith Thank you, this was my last ditch effort at posting something yesterday. It was the closest I've come to not getting a picture up....one of those days where I put it off till later and when I imported I had nothing on the card but crappy pictures. Noticed the hearts and said what the heck, I'll post that! Some days you just gotta do what you gotta do to get the job done! :))
@petersonsheri Thanks Sheri, I did just move the camera around....I think these were flashing lights at an intersection on the next road over. It was a combination of moving the camera and bouncing around in my husband's truck....the roads are terrible around her after the freezing and thawing lately...they've all heaved up and it's like riding a roller coaster in places!! :) Have fun with that new star filter....I wish I'd gotten mine earlier in the holiday season.
@barbsmith Thank you Barb, I just put my star filter on and pointed the camera at some lights and then moved the camera while taking the picture. I think It's more fun to have someone else do the painting though....I had my grandson use a flashlight to make the light patterns....lots of fun and you can really paint with light using that technique and I think I have more control over the finished image doing it that way..
Thanks, Paula. I bet your grandson loved that! Last summer my daughter did a photo with children and glow sticks. Each of 4 children had a different colored glow stick and one letter to write - l - o -v -e. Similar concept.
@barbsmith That's funny Barb....right after we did the flashlight painting we went to Dollar General and picked up a boatload of glow sticks in all different colors. Haven't used them yet but one of these days we'll get around to it! :)
