I went back this morning to the site where I spotted all the Bald Eagles yesterday and found 2 had returned to finish off the deer carcass for breakfast. I tried to crop most of the graphic material out of this shot but unfortunately it depicts the harsher side of nature. One was a Bald Eagle and the other one pictured here is either an immature Bald Eagle or a Golden Eagle....not sure which. I just assumed the mottled brown ones I saw yesterday were Golden Eagles but my husband suggested they might also be young Bald Eagles. I thank you for all the wonderful comments on yesterdays photos so no need to comment again on the eagles I post today...they're mostly for my own documentation purposes and hey, there's only so much you can say about bird pictures! :)
I haven't been able to spend much time here the last couple of days but hopefully II'll have a chance to catch up on some viewing and commenting shortly!
