I had absolutely no pictures for today so I went out just before dark with the fisheye lens because it lets in more light than any other and since light was limited it was the logical choice. I literally laid on the ground under the tree and shot up at at the sky. It was basically this or nothing! :)
Many, many thanks for all the views, comments and favs....I sincerely appreciate all the support and inspiration you guys provide on a daily basis! :)
Wow, what amazing textures!!! It feels like they are three looming giants looking down at me...sort of an ominous feeling, and yet such a beautiful shot!!!
There is an aboriginal quality to this or a primitive artist quality. this is very cool. You made something very special out of what you thought was nothing.
This is a fantastic shot..like the way it turned out taken the fish eye lense..i better start saving my money or it will be a long time before I can afford some different lenses.
You know, I've never been interested in fish-eye lenses, but this picture is so dramatic and fantastic, I think I'm going to check into one! GREAT job!!!!
I get so bored with tree photographs. But this is absolutely eye-catching. I'm not a fan of fisheye lens photos, but it certainly worked to your advantage in this photo. **fav**
This is incredible, Paula. I love your fish eye shots and I love shots both looking up and looking down. There is something so childlike about lying on the ground and gazing into the sky. As adults, we probably don't allow ourselves to do that often enough. The contrast of the coarseness in the tree trunks and the feathery branches really make this for me.
Great angle.
