We're going to stay in a tiny Landmark Trust cottage by the river in Cambridgeshire in a month or so. Dave's been gathering hazel wood from work to take with us to burn on the open fire.
Got an estimate from the 4th plumber this morning. He's going to send me a breakdown of the costings so hopefully will be able to move forward.
Cold grey day and I tried out a new thing, Zumba in the middle of the day as a sort of long early lunch. Class I was doing on a Monday at 5 has moved to the ridiculous time of 8. Was OK but was a bit busy in the small studio, so I hope nobody had Covid. Good aircon on there though.
Exhausted though now. Have fallen asleep under the wolfie faux fur. We never got to the Green Planet yesterday, and doesn't look like we will tonight either. Dave's rustling up smoked salmon and scrambled egg to bring up.
Zumba is exhausting…I tried it once a good few years ago & had to sit down…I was just about the oldest there though!! 😨 I would hope your lovely sounding cottage might supply the wood, fingers crossed! Hope your plumber comes up trumps!
Oh, to look forward to a getaway! I’m still hesitant to get out among people very much. Covid about got me. But 10 months later my antibody count is still very high. Both my doctors say no vaccine. But it seems vaccine documentation is required to do much travel. Trying to be content close to home.
