Amazing amounts of sunshine today if rather scarily windy (if you're on a bike). On the way back from Zumba.
Terrible night's sleep (or not much sleep). Tossed and turned listening to the gale outside and full on worrying about leaks and floods - plumber due to start at the flat next week. So much for 'worry time' - the whole night was worry time.
No news at work on our second successful candidate either, not looking great. Went off to Zumba at lunchtime - trying not to fall off the bike in the strong winds. Later looked up tiles, and spoke to the plumber about such arcane things as trims. Checked in with tenants and sisters re colours, nobody really fussed, so plain white it is.
Smoked salmon supper later.
In 'what a shocker' news, Sue Gray's heavily redacted report was published.
And in just plain sad news, the last surviving member of iconic folk singing family the Watersons, Norma Waterson, died yesterday.
You will be able to rest easy when the plumber has finished….where is the safest & stands the test of time plus cheapest hopefully! It dies look a lovely day…same here too.
