The rising sun sets the lake in St James's Park all aglimmer. Walking through the parks on the way into the office. Lots of cheeky squirrels, the usual noisy Egyptian geese, a couple of herons sauntering across the grass and a couple of Hawaiian geese, or nenes.
A busy day and I ended up staying till 6.45 clearing emails. Got an email from the second candidate to say she's still thinking about the offer. Home to a rather yummy paella type dish with shiitake mushrooms and prawns that Dave rustled up.
Ordered some tiles and grout today for the flat job. One of the tenants won't be there for the week, and possibly not the other either, which will me a bit of a nuisance but not surprising. Set off the fretting a bit.
