A line of robin lights in front of this already festive house.
Starting to get Christmas-organised - set up my Christmas presents 2022 spreadsheet and did an audit of what I've got so far. Not doing too badly. After a light brekkie with R and R, and M, they went off for the morning and I cycled up to an interesting sounding shop in Highams Park where I found some lightish pressies for R and M that they could take back home with them.
Drove to mum's to pick her up and on to her local Turkish restaurant to meet R and R, and M. A long leisurely afternoon of chat, food and a bottle of prosecco. Lots of meze starters and a seafood shish with rice and salad. And puddings too.
1. Payday!
2. Beautiful end-of-autumn almost-winter day - sunny, some leaves still on the trees and feeling cold.
3. My new laptop charger waiting for me when I got home - won't need to lug the ridiculously heavy version into work anymore.
How nice, and a lovely DOF. I've started to get organised, but I have no spreadsheet. Maybe that's where I go wrong. I just have a long list with a lot of blanks at present! But I do save the previous lists - so people don't get the same thing every year!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond@jamibann the situation is somewhat aggravated also because both my sisters and my mum have Christmas or very early January birthdays!
