There were such a lot of lovely things growing on the allotment today that I decided to make a collage of some of them. The squash flowers and fruits are the most exciting to see as they develop so quickly, especially with all the rain we've had. I'm not really encouraging the bindweed but when it flowers it's quite beautiful. The bee was enjoying the Phacelia flowers - it's a green manure which you plant and then dig in to improve the soil.
Things are coming along beautifully! You'll be munching on the rewards of your labour in no time. I should try green compost in my garden (note to self).
