A host of golden daffodils

The daffodils in our local park have just come out in time for St. David's day. St. David is the patron Saint of Wales, and the date of March 1st was chosen to remember him as it was the date of his death in 589. He is buried in the City of St Davids, in Wales, which is the smallest city in Britain. There's a good picture of the cathedral at this link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Davids
