Attic windows

Finished at last. I've made this quilt for a friend's baby born in January. The pattern in the centre is called attic windows and includes animal pictures in the 'windows'. You may have to view large to see them. I was going to do a collage but noticed that the collage option from Picasa had gone1

thanks for the info on the milk bags. yes, i've heard about the handbags too. we were told the hospitals use them to keep the patients' belongings in while in the hospital, then send them home with first aid supplies, etc. very cool that you lived in regina and nfld. hope you liked living in canada

This is beautiful work. I am in awe of patchworks and quilts as they look complex. Thinking of signing up for a class though. What a super keepsake for this baby.
