I took Betty down to the Pightle this morning and took some photos for their website. I haven't been down since last month and everything has changed. I was surprised at just how many new flowers there were. This one was so pretty after the rain last night.
I love scabious and especially wild ones. They are very pretty over Fleam Dyke at the moment - maybe they enjoyed the wet summer but I always thought they liked dry! This photo is a beauty.
