Another picture from our day in London. This is part of the Wallace Collection owned by Sir Richard Wallace in the 1800's. They are housed in a rather grand 18th century townhouse in Manchester Square, London. The museum is free and there are many famous artists on show - Titian, Rembrandt, Rubens and Canaletto to name but a few. You could easlily pass an hour there on a wet afternoon. There's also a very smart courtyard restaurant - we didn't eat there!
I find the composition of this very nice. But I find the orange walls and yellow paint they chose a bit odd. But it must have shown off the paintings well.
