I've cheated a bit today! It's been a beautiful, sunny day, but I've been busy so when my daughter called round to take Betty for a walk I asked her if she would like to take some pictures for me! She went to Houghton Mill and this is one of the pictures she took as the sun was going down. Thanks for all your comments and fav's on my sunrise picture - much appreciated.
This looks so peaceful and doesn't look as though there have been too many floods there. The river in Willington is really flowing fast, flooded over the bank and looks a dirty muddy colour. This is really nice
@rosiekind Actually it was flooded at Houghton. Katherine took a picture of the mill showing the water much further up than I remember it in the summer.
