We picked some of our crops from the allotment today. The beetroot have grown rather large but will still be good for pickling. The new potatoes have done really well this year - no blight as yet! Those long purple things at the top are an unusual variety of climbing French beans. We aren't too keen on the artichokes but we have a French lady friend who likes them.
Wow well done you! I'm much further behind in my shady little plot. I'll have those beetroot for roasting if you don't want them! Great with roasted feta in a salad.
