Greymouth beach, NZ by busylady

Greymouth beach, NZ

We took the transalpine train from Christchurch to Greymouth. A spectacular journey, but hoping for better weather tomorrow. It was raining when we set off but beautifully sunny when we arrived. The enormous waves came crashing onto this pebbly beach full of driftwood.
Has a very misty and slightly desolate feel. Very atmospheric.

A lovely seascape. Driftwood burns nicely - I would be collecting a winter's supply!

Wonderful capture - I'm sorry you've had some rain but this is a fabulous seascape so it must make up for the weather!
