This is one New Zealand's fjords. We took an amazing overnight boat trip to view the magnificent scenery. This was our first view of the Sound from the top of the Wilmott pass before we boarded the boat. It was named by Captain Cook as he was 'doubtful' that he would be able to sail his ship through it.
I am so pleased you did this trip Judith as it was one of the highlights of my trip. I have a pic is this view but it was snowing! Absolutely stunning! Fav! I want to visit again!
