Queenstown is a very lively city, and the busiest place we've visited so far. We took the gondola ride up for this view of the city nestling around Lake Wakitipu. I'm not keen on gondola rides but had to grit my teeth so I could see these wonderful views. Peter went further up on the chair lift and did two luge rides - not for me! We've been so lucky with the weather. They were also offering paragliding rides and helicopter rides from the top, so there's plenty of ways to spend your money.
Whoo whoo! Your photos are making me soo jealous! Such gorgeous photos, I just love the colour of the water , you captured it beautifully...it did the paragliding a few years back, worth every penny if you dare x
