Wooo hoooo! We took the helicopter ride over the two glaciers Fox and Franz Josef. I was afraid to look down at first but strangely enough I found it easier looking through the camera lens. This was taken through the helicopter window so I pleased with how it came out. We also did a snow landing which was fun, and it was really quite warm on top, no need for jackets. We zig-zagged down the glaciers so we could see the textures in the packed snow and ice. A real once in a life-time experience.
Smashing shot! Make the most of it while you can. As for feeling safer through the camera viewfinder, I find that my vertigo is non-existent when seen through that small piece of glass!
