Broad bean shoot by busylady

Broad bean shoot

It was supposed to be sunny and warm today but was cool and windy all morning. The sun did come out this afternoon when it did at last warm up. I planted my broad beans on the allotment today. I grow them in small polythene bags of compost on a sunny window sill first to give them a good start, then transplant them straight from the bags to the the ground. The bags act like a mini greenhouse.
A brilliant close up. Fav
