With the help of Paul@steampowered I've been able to get a much better close focus on these reels of thread. I also used my new gorillapod - a birthday present from my son. The background is a fractured landscape fabric picture which I made at a workshop on Friday.
Unusual subject matter beautifully captured. You might have enjoyed our CWA meeting Monday night. A friend has just completed a 10 day millinery course and shared with us the five hats she made over the period. Stunning work. She is an embroiderer and is taking up hat making as a new challenge.
