Gone fishing

This is Pocket Park, a fairly new housing development overlooking the river near St. Neots. I was babysitting my grandson this afternoon and took him for a walk around this lovely part of the river.
I like the lighting in this a lot, Judith. It gives it such a soft look, yet the reflections are clear. And the lone fisherman is a great touch.

We'll they haven't spoiled the view here with those modern houses, I think they enhance the area beautifully. The fisherman doesn't mind anyway!

Great scene.

It's been attractively done I think - better than the monstrosities they are building in Cambridge.

@judithg I was just lucky - right time, right place. Sun behind me shining on thebuildings and that magnificent sky overhead.

Fabulous light, it all looks so ominous with that overcast sky, but the clarity of the buildings is superb. Definite FAV.

The light on the boats is wonderful.. especially with the darker sky overhead. And that is quite a large fishing rod the man is using... what is he fishing for... a whale? :)
