We walked from the Monument in the City of London along the Thames path to the Prospect of Whitby, a historic public house in Wapping. It is the site of the oldest riverside tavern along the Thames dating from around 1520. However, all that remains from the building's earliest period is the 400 year old stone floor. This is the view across the Thames from the pub's beer garden. Thanks you all so much for putting yesterday's picture of the Walkie Talkie building on to the PP! I'm thrilled!
