The Lion King

I love the buzz in London's West End. We ended our day in London with a visit to the Lion King. It was amazing. The costumes, the dancing, and the singing was just superb. The movement of the actors made them look like the animals they represented, they were so supple and the set design was so ingenious.

A great memory shot for me! I took my niece on a holiday there about 8 years ago, when she was 11 -- I have a photo of her in front of the theater wearing my silk vest. Ah...time flies. A great scene -- it's such a terrific musical!

Sounds like a perfect day. I still haven't seen this but my sister said it was so beautifully done that it brought tears to her eyes. At the end one of her young sons didn't get up to go and when she asked him why he said he was staying to watch it again. (Think he was confusing it with a dvd!)
