Butterfly on fennel

We took a walk round a topiary garden this morning. Part of the garden was planted with wildflowers to attract the butterflies and insects. I don't know the name of this butterfly but the flower is fennel. Perhaps someone could enlighten me?

Beautiful and I love the smell of fennel. There was a lovely baby drink for soothing tiny people when Susannah was a baby and I think I drank as much of it as she did!
