Budding oak tree? by busylady

Budding oak tree?

Our U3A photography leaders had negotiated free entrance to Audley End if we could prove we were having an 'educational trip'. They gave us a sheet with several challenges including depth of field in the garden, macro flowers with out of focus background and a compositional tree image. I'm not sure which category this one comes under but I quite liked it. Thanks to the organisers and to the staff for allowing us all free entrance to the house and gardens.
That is beautiful and what a lovely educational trip!!

Whichever it falls into, it is rather lovely. Unusual to see that lower knarled shell on the bottom of the acorn. Sounds like a good day.

I would imagine this place would normally have a fee to enter! A great history with a bit of royalty attached! This is like a hand holding the acorn so tightly!
