This was the most magical journey through the snowy landscape 3 years ago, in Northern Sweden. No snow here today but it's very cold and windy.
Good things,
1) a brisk walk to the river, very swollen and covering the flood plains
2) home-made clam chowder
3) finished and enjoyed reading Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine
