I've almost finished making this activity blanket for our little Grandson Monty. It includes - from top left, a wigwam with zip, a lanyard and key ring,a garage door with a velcro fastener and car, a fish to catch, a string of beads, a shirt pocket complete with keys and hanky, a front door with letter, bell and a pic of Monty behind the door, a teddy behind a velcro flap, and a shoe lace to tie. Phew! I've really enjoyed making it, just have to put it all together now. All made with bits and pieces found at home and a few donations from a friend.
A dull mornng with rain, so I spent it sewing. Then the sun came out so I did some gardening but it soon clouded over.
This is a lovely piece of work, and so much fun for your grandson. When Lucy was a baby, Louise bought her a doll with lots of different fastenings and activities which was much loved, which Katharine refurbished a couple of years ago for our youngest grandaughter. Fav!
