Hellebore

I love hellebores but they're not easy to photograph in situ. It's our Grandson's birthday tomorrow and we were trying out his present - a microscope! We needed to find some small item to look at under the microscope so we picked some flowers and tried looking at a stamen and some pollen. Then I thought I'd use the flower for today's post.

My mother always grew hellebores successfully and your photo is an inspiration to introduce some into my garden... they’ve been on my list for a while!
