The painting

This is the painting of Swanage mill pond done by Peter's Grandad in about 1920. Compare with my post yesterday to see how the mill pond looks today. I can see that the windows have been upgraded and the roof lines have changed. Also the willow tree now covers a large area of the steps in the painting. Thanks to Babs for suggesting I post a pic of the original painting,

Thanks for posting. Lovely to see the comparison. Peter's grandfather was so talented it must have been quite emotional to go back and see the same scene again after so many years.
