Peterborough Cathedral aka St. Peter's Cathedral

This screen at the front of the cathedral caught my eye. I'm not sure what it's purpose is but I liked the light shining through and the flags beyond.
Good things - home-made cream of celery and leek soup and tomato soup for our church's monthly lunch social. Lots of customers today - we served 34, the celery soup was the most popular. Thank you for all your comments and fav's on yesterday's shot
I too love that ironwork. The pattern & lace like work is beautiful. The whole cathedral looks in excellent order.
Good work on the lunch service!

What a beautiful and ornate ironwork topped with the glistening brass rail .- very dramatic !
So good to be serving the public with nourishing soups in these days of poverty !
