The glovemaker by busylady

The glovemaker

William Shakespeare's father John was an affluent glovemaker. We enjoyed this room in the house where William was born, showing some examples of leather gloves as they would have looked in Shakespeare's time. A fascinating visit, with the volunteers sharing stories of life in the 1500's.
What a wonderful visit Judith , love the gloves on display , and I am sure the stories of the 1500's very entertaining!
