A glut of Chinese lanterns by busylady

A glut of Chinese lanterns

These lanterns provide some prettty Autumn colour, but they are very dificult to control. Every year I dig some out but each year they multiply! They originally came from my Mum-in-law's garden.
Up date: Grandad (aka hubbie Peter) came out of hospital on Tuesday, then was back in the next morning for an MRI scan.
They discovered a blood clot on his lung, and an infection,so he has lots of medication!
He's feeling much better now, but still very tired.
Very pretty… beautiful big orange lanterns… a bit of early Halloween

The fruits remind me very much of gooseberries, but i guess they're not edible. Good news that your husband is on the mend.

They look beautiful. David had pulmonary embolism with multiple clots in his lung during lockdown. Luckily, he was able to be treated quickly, and he is fine again now. That part of his lung is dead but again luckily he has large lungs.
