These lanterns provide some prettty Autumn colour, but they are very dificult to control. Every year I dig some out but each year they multiply! They originally came from my Mum-in-law's garden.
Up date: Grandad (aka hubbie Peter) came out of hospital on Tuesday, then was back in the next morning for an MRI scan.
They discovered a blood clot on his lung, and an infection,so he has lots of medication!
He's feeling much better now, but still very tired.
Such a lovely Autumnal plant to have in the garden ! I had some plants once and after the lanterns I pulled the whole plants up ,not realising that they not just annuals !! Sorry to hear Peter's news - I hope all will be sorted and perhaps medication - he will feel better soon ! 🙏
They look beautiful. David had pulmonary embolism with multiple clots in his lung during lockdown. Luckily, he was able to be treated quickly, and he is fine again now. That part of his lung is dead but again luckily he has large lungs.
Sorry to hear your news and glad he is ok.
I love these little lanterns quite fascinating looking all puffed up like that.
So sorry to hear about your husband, I hope the medication takes care of it.
