We popped into the city this morning & this is an area that has recently been rejuvenated. The buildings on the right are quite old, it was the corn exchange. The exterior has been cleaned but is essentially the same & the insides have been renewed. The buildings on the right are newer. There are quite a few eating places & select shops here now. I thought it suited b&w & it’s best viewed on black.
Beautifully captured in wonderful detail suites this monochrome tones perfectly Carole, the round building was Ashley’s store when I was a boy, an Aladdin’s cave for a young boy, Fav :)
@carole_sandford Yes indeed local farming stock Carole attend the City School as a boy, my wife is also a Yellow Belly, not lived around Lincoln since 1977 still have relatives in and around Lincoln so visit now and again:)
