The Kings Head at Tealby was established in 1367 & is thought to be the oldest thatched pub in Lincolnshire.
We had a lovely roast dinner here today, as apparently it’s the start of Phil’s Birthday Week ( even though his birthday isn’t until tomorrow - there again he was born in Singapore at 5.20 am, & it’s already tomorrow there, so we might let him off!)
How fabulous - this is exactly the type of pub that we adore - so much history - so many beers drunk there over the centuries. And your photo has shown it very much still alive and dispensing cheer! Super shot!
Happy Birthday to Phil!
