Going Electric

My wife and I took a Tesla on a test drive this morning. Loved it! Might have to buy one. In the meantime this iPhone snap will have to do for todays Rainbow March colour.

My son loves his. We are really liking our SOLTERRA though it is still a bit scary to travel without clear ideas re where we will charge. We have a level 2 charger at home so it works well for daily use

Lovely colour. We have a hybrid electric. I couldn't go full electric because I would always be in a panic about running out of power somewhere remote.

@kametty My wife drives a gasoline powered vehicle which we could use if going on a long trip to avoid charging worries. The Tesla would be our home based workhorse.

They are probably the way to go - but over here they seem very expensive and a bit useless with their limited range. Sometimes, on our big trip last year, we covered over 800km in a day.

@robz The Tesla we are looking at has a range of 450km, more than adequate for our needs. We don’t make long driving trips anymore, we fly and rent a car at our destination.
