Mute Swans

A pair of Mute Swans that make their home on the river near where I live. Swans mate for life and this pair have been a couple for at least 8 years that I know of. I have photographed them a number of times over the years but have never been this close to them before. I was sitting on a dock with friends who live on the river and they swam right up to us enabling me to get this shot with my phone. I'm sure they were looking for a handout.
