Yesterday I posted a shot of this public art piece shot from the rear. @monikozi asked if I had one showing the front of the vehicle. I explained that because of the placement of the piece it was difficult to get a clean, uncluttered shot of it from the front but I would try. I went back today with my 14mm wide angle lens and came up with this. This one's for you Moni, I hope you like it.
Oh, Chris! That is super kind of you to go back there! Thank you so much!
Now i am completely puzzled... how was the truck placed there... or how were the trees determined to grow there...
And as far as i can see, there is a tree growing through the cabin and through the hood. And that ivy just adds to the scene.
Not to mention the complementing colours.
Chris, you really did take a good capture of this. Thanks again! @ljmanning Oh, yes, Laura. I surely am.
@monikozi I have no idea how the artist created this piece. The trees and ivy are real, the truck is real, how it all got put together is a mystery to me. But it certainly is eye catching.
Great capture of this art installation. Unless it has been there for a very long time i would guess that the truck has been "assembled" around the trees with necessary holes cut in the bodywork as needed. I could be totally wrong (and probably am :-) but it is a great piece whatever way they did it.
