Picket Fence

I have photographed this heritage home several times before but this time decided to focus on the picket fence. Every time I see it I think of the great Little Feat song "Dixie Chicken", specifically the line that goes "I don't remember church bells or the money I put down on the white picket fence and boardwalk of the house at the edge of town". Now I've given myself an earworm.

I like to see a picket fence, however these pickets are space further apart than most I've seen. I, too, like the song "Dixie Chicken" although probably only remember the chorus and the music.
