I have disengaged from 365 this past week. I had a health scare last Sunday that put me in hospital for several days. I’m back home now and feeling much better. Apparently I have Crohn’s Disease which could dictate some significant life changes. Oh well. At least I’m still above ground. In the meantime I will pick up where I left off in my last post with more images from a photowalk I was on last Saturday. I might milk those for a few days until I get back into action with my camera.
I can sympathize with you as I have a semi-blocked bowel. This causes a lot of the same problems you have. I can't eat any fresh fruits of vegetables hardly. I need to puree things. I can't eat nuts and most meats. Add to it my problem with reflux and now with fairly eating is like putting a jigsaw puzzle together. If you have to limit foods and want some ideas on eating I would be very happy to share some of my ideas. I am now making vegetable stock as a way to get veggies. Good luck. What a neat shot.
This is such a great shot, especially with the boots neatly placed beside the hammock.
Chris, I’m so sorry to hear that you’re having a rough time. I hope you’re getting great care and will feel stronger soon.
@joansmor Thanks Joan. I would appreciate your advice. CD hasn’t been confirmed yet but the gastroenterologist I saw while in hospital seems pretty sure it is. He is going to schedule a colonoscopy for some time in April after the program of prednisone he prescribed is finished. In the meantime I am on a very restricted low fibre diet which, like you, means no fresh fruit or vegetables no red meat, no alcohol. My email address is cdcook48@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you.
Life can get complicated.....hope you can overcome the medical hurdle and continue your great photography project as I am sure it will help to take your mind off the changes you are having to make. Great capture as always.
I am so sorry to hear of your health issues. Not good news, but it does mean that you have the knowledge needed to have some control over what happens in the future. So good to hear that you are going to continue to find, catch and show your lovely images. Best wishes Rob

What a great shot, he looks so relaxed in the hammock.
Sorry to hear of your health issues. I do hope you can get the right treatment soon to alleviate the pain.
Sorry to read about your health issues and hope you find the right way to resolve them.
