We lost power tonight and just got it back on after several hours. The intense heat has been triggering some pretty good storms. I really can't complain as there are folks that have been without power around me since last night - there are a lot of big trees down around town and still over 100 today. And do you know I was worried that I would miss my upload
So, this isn't what I wanted to do with these shots but this is as good as it gets at almost 10pm.
I took the wide angle to Sharon Woods Lake and walked around to see what I could get. I wasn't incredibly impressed but it would be gorgeous in the fall. When I got home I decided to play with them and see if I could zoom in on something in the shot and get some clarity. The top left is the long shot of the lake. The ducks I zoomed in and am pretty happy with the clarity - but would have changed the way the program put the collage together if I would have had the time. Tom was standing right next to me (I know his eyes are shut but I love that smile) and that is not zoomed in. So overall, the lens passed the test again today.
I think we need a generator. How do the Amish do it?
I can not believe this weather and the power outages that people are having all over town. We are so grateful to have not lost our power. Sharon Woods is a great place to go. Fun collage. Looking forward to seeing it in the fall. I am planning to go to the balloon event on Tuesday night at this point. Maybe we can try to meet up...
Fun collage. I have read about the power outages--sorry. When we lived in North Carolina and went through Hurricane Hugo we bought a generator--definitely the wrong time to buy one!!!
